Crispy Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon

Crispy Air Fryer Bang Bang Salmon
Ingredients:
- 1 lb salmon fillets, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp cornstarch or flour (optional, for added crispiness)
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
- 1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust according to desired spice level)
- 1 tsp lime juice or rice vinegar
Instructions:
- Begin by patting the salmon fillets dry using a paper towel. Coat the fillets with olive oil, then season evenly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. If you prefer extra crispiness, lightly dust the salmon with cornstarch or flour.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the seasoned salmon fillets, skin-side down, into the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8–10 minutes, or until the salmon reaches a golden, crispy texture and flakes easily when tested with a fork. There’s no need to flip the fillets during cooking.
- While the salmon is cooking, prepare the Bang Bang Sauce. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, and lime juice (or rice vinegar). Adjust the spice level by adding more Sriracha for heat or additional sweet chili sauce for a milder flavor.
- Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle or brush the Bang Bang sauce generously over the fillets. For added flair, garnish with chopped green onions, sesame seeds, or fresh cilantro.
- Serve your crispy Bang Bang Salmon alongside steamed rice, roasted vegetables, or a light, refreshing salad for a complete meal.
Enjoy this bold and crispy dish that combines smoky, sweet, and spicy flavors in every bite!
