One-Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta

One-Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta
This delightful One-Pan Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken Pasta is a perfect blend of rich flavors and convenience, making it the ideal weeknight meal. With tender chicken, a velvety garlic butter sauce, and perfectly cooked pasta, this dish comes together in just one pan. Here’s how to make it:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced
- 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne, fusilli, or your preferred variety)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Sauté the Chicken: Begin by heating a large skillet over medium heat and melting the butter. Add the diced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and fully cooked through.
- Add Garlic and Seasoning: Once the chicken is cooked, stir in the minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Allow it to cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the garlic becomes fragrant.
- Cook the Pasta: Add the uncooked pasta directly to the skillet and pour in the chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover the skillet and let it cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the broth has mostly been absorbed.
- Prepare the Creamy Sauce: Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
- Final Touches and Serving: Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper, if needed. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
